The Kansas City Star reports that a major new development could be coming to Blue Springs, Mo. Designed by NSPJ Architects, the proposed $66 million mixed-use project would transform city-owned land into a luxury apartment community with retail stores and recreational spaces. The Blue Springs City Council recently held a public hearing and a series of votes on the project, along with related zoning changes, infrastructure improvements and more than $20 million in proposed tax breaks.
