The landscape design approach was to create additional outdoor living spaces that provides privacy and options for all seasons. The orientation of the existing pool and pool house to the existing home felt disconnected. Optional seasonal uses were created by designing an outdoor entry with a water feature, additional roof covered outdoor kitchen, and lower patio with a fireplace. This provided the large family with the chance to use the backyard area throughout the year as well as connect it more fluidly to the main residence.
