The Loretto is a multipurpose venue, off of the 39th Street corridor adjacent the historic Roanoke neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri. It was dedicated in 1904 as a boarding and day school for girls. Today, it functions as a true mixed-use building, with apartments and offices, as well as corporate and wedding chapel/event spaces. The design approach for this project was to make spaces more current and aesthetically pleasing. Also, functional while respecting the historic character of the building.
More specifically, the remodel of The Loretto has expanded and refreshed finishes at the existing wedding event space and refreshed the pre-function event space adding a new bar. We also created new dedicated bride and groom suites, new honeymoon suites, and four new short-term rental units. The administrative spaces hallways and common areas have also received an update.
In the future, a new deck to the south end of the wedding event space will be added. As well as, an outdoor event space to serve as an alternate location for weddings as well as an overflow for the interior event spaces.
We strive to be the best residential architects in Kansas City, as we serve our clients around the country.
