Rec-Centric Apartments

Designed as a community focused on active living, Rec-Centric Apartments will bring 277 units to a 9-acre site near I-435 and Renner Road. Located across from Shawnee Mission Park, the project is designed to help residents build community through high-end amenities and proximity to public recreation. 

The development includes 271 apartments above a two-story parking garage and six two-story townhomes overlooking a private walking trail and dog park. The apartment building’s E-shaped layout creates outdoor courtyards that serve as the center of resident life. 

Amenity spaces support the project’s activity-minded concept with a swimming pool, cross-fit area, outdoor firepit areas, kayak and canoe rentals, golf simulator and rooftop courtyard with an atrium-style roof overlooking the park. The community also features an activity coach to help residents connect through organized activity and social programming.
