What started out as an overgrown, extremely steeply sloped backyard became a breathtaking pool retreat. Despite the property’s reputation for being too challenging, a flat spot for the pool was identified. The slope, originally the biggest obstacle, became an asset when it was used to create the infinity edge of the in-ground pool. A necessary retaining wall was beautified with stone and a water feature. Mediterranean blue accents and pool tile tie the retreat together and contribute to the overall calm.
