Architecture

The award-winning Oread Hotel sitting atop Mt.Oread (from which it takes its name) is adjacent to the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, Kansas. The building’s style and its use of limestone tie back to the architecture of the historic buildings on campus. A true mixed-use building, this 10-story facility encompasses hotel, convention, retail, restaurant, bar, outdoor terrace and private condominium uses over four levels of underground parking.
