With our long-standing relationship with Tutera Senior Living & Health Care, the Northland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center was designed with the vision of offering seniors a lifestyle based on physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual well-being. Careful consideration was given to the exterior massing, scale, and composition by sculpting the landscape to give it a distinctive residential feel.  The community encompasses a 90-bed skilled nursing facility to establish a secure, comfortable, home-like atmosphere where residents can relax and feel good about their recovery process.

The building’s lobby is filled with natural light from large windows and a raised tower that accentuates the bistro below with a high clerestory.  The varied ceiling heights define the different functions while maintaining an open plan.

The facility exemplifies the highest standard in health care and wellness design where residents will feel at home.  A comprehensive network of care, services, and living options include four dayrooms, multiple dining venues, a salon, and a fireplace lounge.  Ample daylight fills the end of each hallway, brightening the community.  The spacious therapy gym offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy in an open layout with floor to ceiling windows to help residents reach their rehabilitation goals.

A beautiful exterior courtyard provides a place for residents to have fun and socialize at the putting green, covered shade structure, or under the dining patio trellis.  The courtyard also includes amenities for outdoor rehabilitation with specially designed stair and ramp therapy stations.
