On the site of the former Wonderscope Children’s Museum, 26 Modern Farmhouse-style townhomes will introduce new housing options to downtown Shawnee. Developed in close collaboration with the City and surrounding neighborhood, the design has evolved through several revisions to create a plan that fits naturally within the area while bringing renewed energy to an underused site.
The community is arranged as four townhome buildings surrounding a secure interior parking area and private backyards. Each two-story residence includes three to four bedrooms, an office, generous closet space and an open-concept kitchen and living area. Exterior wood and stone accents give the homes a distinctive, contemporary character while helping them complement the scale and style of nearby residences.
