This high density community was designed with a timeless New England colonial theme to appeal to both millennials and empty nesters in an area of town that had not had any new residential developments in decades. The community’s buildings were arrayed around two water features that provided a focal point for pedestrian circulation. The community amenities include a resort-style pool, clubhouse with fitness facility, and movie theater.
Kirkwood Townhomes is a luxury townhouse project with three buildings, each containing three units. It is located in a mixed-use neighborhood south of the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Mo.
Each unit has a minimum of two bedrooms with large open living spaces and a large rear terrace over a two-car garage. The buildings are compatible with the neighborhood streetscape and consist of a traditional walk-up brick facade with gated and landscaped courtyards.
