The Briarcliff Hilltop office building incorporates and reinterprets the classical components of a column: base, shaft, and capital, to give it proper grounding, establish its height and define its vertical termination. The lobby, unlike those found in most modern office buildings, was intended to be warm to invite lingering over the magnificent view of the downtown Kansas City skyline. Classical cast stone fireplaces, luxurious bookcases, and comfortable seating provides a gracious place for the tenants to meet their visitors. The main floor lobby, combined with the lower level gathering space and fountain courtyard, is frequently used for corporate celebrations and receptions.
We strive to be the best residential architects in Kansas City, as we serve our clients around the country.
