Michelle Newcome joined NSPJ Architects in February 2023 in the role of Architect I. She has a Master of Architecture from the University of Kansas and 4 years of experience working on commercial and TI projects.
During her time in school, she had the opportunity to complete a semester-long internship in Seoul, South Korea. During her architecture internship, Michelle tried to learn the language and increase her tolerance for spicy foods. While studying furniture design in Copenhagen, Denmark, it illuminated her passion for creating furniture pieces.
Outside of the office, Michelle maintains her involvement as director’s assistant of a local dance company as one of her creative outlets. She additionally enjoys crafting, construction and writing when she has time.
