Emily McBride joined NSPJ Architects in 2022 in the role of Designer II. She has always had a passion for architecture. As a child, Emily would draw floorplans with chalk and used them to play house. She interviewed friends and family to design their dream homes. Emily realized that hobby could turn into a career, and it made a job never feel like work. She has had years of experience leading multifamily projects where she has demonstrated her abilities to be organized, detail-orientated and easy going.
She is passionate about volunteer work focusing on special education services and food banks. In her free time, Emily enjoys playing with her border collie, Everett, collecting and caring for tropical houseplants, and collecting and speed-solving Rubik’s cubes. She also has fun playing video games, card games and board games.
