We were pleased to attend the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2013 Capstone Awards ceremony last week. Our project The Village at Mission Farms was honored with an award in the Mixed Use category. The annual Capstone awards honor outstanding real estate and development projects and their teams. The Village at Mission Farms includes 212 apartment units and 10,350 square feet of retail on 3.58 acres in Overland Park, Kansas.
The Village at Mission Farms is different from other apartment developments in the region because it offers residents an attached parking garage with controlled access. Tenants can drive right up to their floor and walk into their unit without going up any stairs or an elevator. There are many other elements that contribute to the success of the project, including large floor plans, upscale fixtures, granite countertops, an on-site personal trainer, concierge services, and outdoor courtyards with double-sided fireplaces and top-of-the-line gas grills.
