The Kansas City Business Journal reported that the Port Authority of Kansas City’s development committee recommended in favor of a sales tax exemption on construction materials for a 10- to 11-story, 88-apartment community to be developed by George Birt and Taylor McKee northeast of Fourth Street and Broadway, east of the Buck O’Neil Bridge. The 303 Broadway apartments could break ground next year and open in 2026. NSPJ is the designer of the project.
