Co-President and Principal Architect

As Co-President of the firm, Tim Homburg is committed to upholding the firm’s storied history of design excellence and commitment to client service. Tim began his career in architecture immediately after college, working directly under NSPJ firm founder Howard Nearing as an intern. During his tenure with NSPJ he has held the roles of staff architect, project manager, director, principal architect, and executive vice-president, before becoming firm co-president with Clint Evans in 2015. Throughout his career, he earned experience in a diverse range of project types, which enables him to analyze projects holistically. Tim endeavors to lead by example, holding himself, and those working with him, to the highest standards of quality and professional ethics. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, Tim also continues to serve as principal architect on many projects. His work focuses on  multifamily, mixed-use neighborhood land planning, and senior living communities.
